India Association of Tallahassee (IATLH) is a Florida non-profit organization (FEIN # 59-3521114) devoted to promoting the cultural, social, and educational activities of people from India. It was formed in 1997 to allow Indian Americans living in and around Tallahassee to get together and celebrate various cultural and educational festivals and to promote and propagate the rich and diverse customs and art forms of India.
On Mar 03, 2009 India Association of Tallahassee's application for federal tax-exempt status was formally approved. So donations to IATLH, as a public charity, are tax-exempt under Section 501 (c) (3) of Internal Revenue Code. India Association held the 2009 Annual General Body Meeting on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Leon County (Main) Public Library Meeting Room. The minutes of the meeting and 2008-09 financial report is now available.
